Look what we have been doing in Years 3 and 4

Fosse Way - The Nativity Story

As part of our school vision, we give every child the opportunty to receive applause after performing in front of a crowd. This week, the children thoroughly enjoyed performing our Christmas production for their families and friends. They sang and danced to a range of Christmas songs, both old and new, while narrating the traditional Christmas story.

Our trip to the Lincolnshire Life Museum

As part of our Victorian topic, all the children in Years 3 and 4 visited the Lincolnshire Life Museum last week. The children had lots of fun learning about Victorian life, including homes, school, and games. They experienced what life would have been like for a Victorian schoolchild. The children had the opportunity to dress up and take part in traditional Victorian lessons, and they all decided that school is much more fun today!

Fencing

This week, Year 3 and Year 4 took part in an exciting fencing session in the sunshine, led by a coach from Premier Education. The children learned a range of fencing positions and moves and enjoyed participating in a variety of games and activities using the fencing equipment. It was a fantastic session and great fun for everyone!
