Fosse Way Academy has become a leading provider of Wraparound Childcare for primary school children and we are currently offering some excellent opportunities to work within this exciting environment. Having extended our opening hours from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm to offer flexible and suitable wraparound childcare for all our families, we are now looking to recruit a new member of the team.

Typically, the Afterschool Club runs from 3:20 pm – 6:00 pm for EYFS and KS1 and from 3:25 pm – 6:00 pm for KS2, again ensuring there is smooth transition at the end of the school day.

The roles will play an integral part of improving our already excellent provision and help the school offer a variety of additional opportunities. They will include supervising the children, ensuring their safety at all times, engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation, setting up optional activities for the children to take part in, meeting and liaising with parents and providing them with feedback regarding their child’s time at the club.

All candidates for these roles must be enthusiastic, honest, reliable, and hardworking and most importantly have a sense of humour and be willing to have fun and enjoy working with the children. You will be fully supported in your role by the Headteacher and Leadership team and the school will also be willing to invest in any additional training and development connected to the role.

Afterschool Club Co-Ordinator (KS1 & KS2) (Level 3 Minimum requirement)

Hours per week - 13.75 hours per week (3:15 pm – 6:00 pm) (Monday - Friday)

Salary Grade NJC 09 pro rata Annual Salary £7000 (approx)

Required to start as soon as possible to work the designated hours above per week during term time only and to provide supervision and care in relation to the attached duties required.
